We drove south and listened to a lot of history that Amit told clearly and knowledgeably on the way. We visited Sderot first, with a few stops to tell the history of the city and what happened there on 10/7. We then continued to the Nova site. We heard his personal testimony. We visited the site with all the damaged cars from that dark Saturday. Then we stopped at Shuva to mingle with soldiers and volunteers.
It was a very meaningful day, and I took a lot away from the tour that I did not know before. It was special to bear witness with a Nova survivor. I highly recommend touring with Amit. shrink

The day itself was exceptional. Amit is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide who brings his own humour and charisma to the telling of an area of history which requires a lot of detail. He is absolutely partisan for those who are concerned. The trip takes you to lookout points showing you the proximity of Gaza to Israel, to Sderot, to the Reim parking lot and finally to the Nova site, where Amit shared his own survivor testimony and the story of the devastating murder of three of his close friends. It was truly a privilege to listen.
Amit is careful and carrying, always checking on the wellbeing of the participants. Although we were all adults, I’m sure that he would be great with children too, especially knowing that he has three of his own!

The stories make Jerusalem more beautiful then it already is. Because of knowledge of the stories and history, the archaeological layers get much more interesting to watch and experience. Menno has a lot of knowledge about it and nice to hear his answer on our questions.

Amazing experience with a great guide Amit is very knowledgeable about the history of the Gaza Envelope and the current situation. That, along with his personal experience and storytelling made for an amazing tour that really shouldn't be missed. We felt it was very respectful to those whose lives were lost and to their families and we feel very fortunate to have had this experience with Amit.

Visit to Sdrot and the site of the Nova festival We were taken through the history of Gaza in a most engaging and enlightening manner.
Then seeing Sedrot, the Nova site and then the hundreds of burnt out cars, which I hope will become a permanent memorial, brings everything into perspective.

He took us to all the relevant sites involved in October 7th, including Sderot, the Gaza Envelope, the. Car Graveyard and the Nova Music Festival site. We got to actually see Gaza over the hills and could view the rubble there. We saw ambulances, police cars and civilian vehicles burned and riddled with bullets. We stood on the site of the Nova Music Festival. We saw a shelter on a Kibbutz where several people were killed by Terrorists.
It was an amazing, emotional, heartbreaking and also heartwarming experience that was made so much more meaningful when given by someone who personally experienced it.

Heart breaking tour- A Must Amit is an excellent guide. We toured parts of the Gaza envelope that were accessible including the October 7th graveyard, Tsderot and the Nova Festival. This is a gut wrenching experience that is more so since Amit was at Nova and three close friends were murdered. I’m not sure how Amit is able to share such a tragic story with such grace
